The winding stairway tower, a spatial link among the Forum’s various floors, also offers an overview of selected facts and events of Swiss history from 1291 to 1850.
An Interactive Experience
The entire permanent exhibition has been supplemented with a wide range of audio stations, interactive elements and experience stations, as well as various objects available for visitors to touch. This makes for a playful interaction with the past and an easy way into the everyday history of the area we now call the Swiss Confederation, from 1300 to 1800. A host of advanced programmes make it possible to learn more about specific aspects of the permanent exhibition.
